About
NEXIIS
Nexiis was established in 2015 by its parent company, Innovative Risk & Financing Group, with a goal to empower communities by addressing the significant economic and social development gaps in First Nations communities.
Nexiis Consulting is the next step in your Specific Claims settlement. What does your community plan to do with the settlement compensation? Has your community leaders developed a plan that sets your community up for success?
Nexiis understands the importance of investing and planning for a community’s economic future, but we also understand that it can be difficult to collaborate with the community without having a viable, secure strategy in place.
This is what Nexiis does.
Once a claim has been settled upon, Nexiis works one on one with community leaders to review the findings of the analysis previously performed by Nativelands Specific Claims Group to develop an action plan that is supported by all members of the community.
Setting up your community for future success and prosperity is imperative to self-determination and self-governance. If community leaders want to stretch the community's claim settlement as far as it’ll go, collaborating with Nexiis will offer your community a safe and detailed roadmap to financial independence for your community’s children and their children.
One of the golden rules of this life is: Always leave something better than when you found it.
That’s how Nexiis feels about First Nations communities. Regardless of the communities circumstances, Nexiis aims to leave the community only after we have helped improve some elements of it. Through Nexiis our main purpose is to identify and build a Community Plan.
Following Nexiis’ ‘needs assessment’, Nexiis and appointed community members will combine this assessment with additional information collected by AERS, will develop a custom plan specific to then unique and varying needs of that community. Nexiis will then look to AIS and its partner brokers to insure
these economic milestones in order for the community to achieve its plan and become a better place to live and raise a family.
For a community’s success, it is important to understand how all of our subsidiaries work together to create one large and exceptionally viable solution. Without one, the others could not properly support and realize the vision of another. Though each of our organizations have their own unique purpose, together, they can break barriers and right some of the historical wrongs that First Nations communities continue to face daily.
